How to Delete Your Account
- 1 Open the Cohesive app on your iOS or Android device
- 2 Navigate to your Profile or Settings
- 3 Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- 4 Confirm deletion when prompted
- 5 You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours
Can't Access the App?
If you're unable to access the Cohesive app to delete your account, you can submit a deletion request by emailing us:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include the email address associated with your Cohesive account in your request. We'll process your deletion within 7 business days.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your Cohesive account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account information: Username, email address, profile data
- All notes and content: Your notes, tags, methodologies, and all user-generated content
- Subscription data: Purchase history and subscription information
- Device information: Registered devices and push notification tokens
- Usage data: App usage statistics and analytics
- Preferences and settings: All app settings and customizations
Data Retention Period
30-Day Retention Period: Your account and data will be marked for deletion immediately, but permanently removed after 30 days.
During this period, you can still recover your account by logging in. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Data We May Retain
For legal and operational reasons, we may retain certain information:
- Transaction records: Required for tax and accounting purposes (anonymized)
- Legal compliance: Data required by law (e.g., fraud prevention)
- Backup logs: Kept for up to 90 days, then permanently deleted
Active Subscriptions
Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Before deleting your account, please cancel your subscription to avoid being charged:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Cohesive → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → Cohesive → Cancel
What Happens After Deletion
✅ You'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours
✅ Your data will be marked for deletion and inaccessible immediately
✅ After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted from our servers
✅ You'll receive a final confirmation email when deletion is complete
⚠️ This action cannot be undone after the 30-day grace period
