Why Cohesive exists
Most digital-detox tools assume the answer is less: block the app, count the hours, hold the streak. Cohesive starts with a different boundary. The same hour of television can be fine for one person and meaningful evidence for another; the behavior alone cannot tell the difference.
The catch is the door, not the product. You record what happened and what was around it. That can be the whole session. If you continue, Cohesive asks one concrete question at a time. At the close it shows the complete catch and every answer without selecting which parts support a reading. It may offer tentative wording, but you decide whether exact visible words, words you write yourself, or nothing enters your map. The app never writes an identity, value, purpose, or direction for you.
Over time, the entries you keep become the first version of the map. Cohesive does not yet draw links between the things you keep, and that is deliberate: a link the app invented would be meaning you did not make. The map can hold identity, values, passions, purpose, goals, direction, and principles in wording you explicitly chose. It can also hold uncertainty or tension without treating either as a defect.
Cohesive is available now on the App Store and Google Play.
Who is responsible
Cohesive is built and operated by Alejandro Carbajo, a sole trader established in Spain. It is part of his Out of Autopilot work. There is no team, no investors, and no growth department.
The product does not sell records, advertise against them, train public models on them, optimise for engagement, or routinely read them. The full data path and the narrow human-access boundary live in the privacy policy.
How to reach me
- [email protected] — questions, feedback, press, anything general.
- [email protected] — data requests, export, deletion, anything about privacy.
Both addresses reach me directly. Replies usually come within a few working days.
