Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and Alejandro Carbajo, a sole trader established in Spain, who operates Cohesive. They take effect when you use this website or the Cohesive app, and they are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, nothing here removes the mandatory rights your own country’s law gives you, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
You need to be at least 16 to use Cohesive.
What is available today
Cohesive is available through the linked app stores. It opens with seven days of full access; choosing a plan is a separate step you take yourself, and the trial never turns into a charge on its own. The purchase terms below govern any purchase of it.
Purchases made on a phone are processed by the app store you downloaded from, which is also who refunds you. The refund policy sets out each route.
Using the website
You may read this site and quote or link to it normally. You may not attempt to break into it, overload it, scrape it in a way that degrades it for other people, submit addresses in bulk, or use it to distribute anything unlawful. Form submissions are rate-limited, and persistent abuse is blocked.
What Cohesive is not
When the life-map rebuild is released, it may ask one concrete recall question at a time about a moment you described and may offer tentative wording at the close. Generated text is a proposal you are free to reject or ignore — not advice, an assessment, a score, a diagnosis, or a decision about you. The complete catch and answers remain visible; only wording you explicitly choose enters the map.
Cohesive is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, dietary, or fitness service, and it is not a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose or treat addiction, attention disorders, trauma, or any other condition. It is not a crisis service: if you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. Cohesive is also not a parental-control, employee-monitoring, or content-blocking tool.
The site as it is
This website is provided as it is. Reasonable care goes into keeping it accurate and available, but no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or freedom from error is given, and it may change or be withdrawn. To the extent Spanish and EU law permit, liability is limited to loss that is a foreseeable consequence of a breach of these terms; liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud, is never excluded.
Content and intellectual property
The Cohesive name and the site’s text, design, and code are owned by Alejandro Carbajo or used under licence. The bundled fonts and the landing-page toolkit are used under their own open-source licences. You keep everything you write; when the life-map rebuild is released, anything you record in it stays yours, and Cohesive receives only the limited permission needed to store it and produce the result you asked for.
If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the material and it will be reviewed.
The trial
Creating an account after onboarding starts a seven-day trial with everything unlocked. It needs no card and no purchase action, and the seven days run from the moment the account is created — not from the moment you look at an offer, and not from the moment you dismiss one. The offer is shown once, after onboarding; leaving it changes neither the clock nor what you can do.
The trial never turns into a charge. It cannot lapse into a subscription, because there is nothing on file to charge. When the seven days are over, one thing stops: starting a new catch or a new conversation. Your map stays readable, export keeps working, and deleting your account keeps working — none of them is ever held back to make you buy or to make leaving harder.
Plans and prices
After the trial there is an explicit choice between exactly two plans:

There is no annual plan and no free tier, and there is no other price. Both plans give the same thing: the ability to keep starting new catches and conversations. Neither is required to read, export, or delete what is already yours.
Prices are set in euros. Where you buy in another currency, or where local tax applies, the amount and the tax are shown by the payment surface before you confirm, and that displayed amount is what you pay. No foreign-currency equivalent is promised on this page.
You are never charged without an explicit purchase action. Choosing a plan opens the payment sheet of the store or processor; nothing is taken before you complete it there.
Who you buy from
Who charges you depends on where you buy, and it decides who can refund you:
- Apple App Store — Apple is the merchant, holds the payment, and applies its own rules.
- Google Play — Google is the merchant, on the same footing.
- Directly from Cohesive, on the web — Alejandro Carbajo is the seller, and payment is processed by Stripe. Cohesive never receives or stores your card number.
The refund policy sets out how a refund is requested on each of the three, and what is offered on top of your statutory rights for a direct purchase.
Renewal, cancellation and price changes
A monthly subscription renews until you cancel it, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than the current period: you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel in the store you bought from, or — for a direct purchase — by writing to [email protected].
Deleting your Cohesive account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, because that subscription is held by the store and not by Cohesive. Cancel it in the store first. The account deletion page gives the exact steps.
A change to the monthly price is told to you before it takes effect, never applies to a period you have already paid for, and leaves you free to cancel instead. A pay-once purchase is a single payment: a later price change does not reach it and it is never re-charged.
When access ends
However access ends — a cancelled subscription, a trial that ran out, a plan never bought — the same things stay true: your map remains readable and exportable, export and deletion keep working, and nothing you kept is deleted as a consequence of not paying. What stops is starting new catches and new conversations.
Cohesive may suspend or end access where an account is used to attack the service, to abuse another person, or unlawfully. Even then, export and deletion remain available to you.
Your right of withdrawal as an EU consumer, and the voluntary fourteen-day return offered on top of it for direct purchases, are set out in the refund policy.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, the change is published here with a new review date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, stop using the site and you may delete your account at any time. Questions go to [email protected].
