FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Who is this for?

Someone who notices their thumb opening, scrolling, or switching without being sure they chose it, and who has found blocking too blunt and generic motivation beside the point. It is not for parental control, workplace monitoring, punitive abstinence, or mental-health emergencies.

How does it work?

You hold a key to catch yourself in the moment. You describe what is happening and what led into it in your own words. Cohesive retrieves only context you have already given or confirmed, then asks one question at a time — often about the act the behaviour was running on top of, such as a meal in front of a screen. You keep the record. Some people file that under mindfulness; it is closer to watching your own footage.

How is data handled?

The moment you catch, what led into it, and your answers leave your device for Cohesive's servers and the model provider that writes the question, because that is what makes the question yours rather than a template. Nothing is sold, used for advertising, used to train public models, or read routinely. The privacy policy sets out retention, your rights, and how to have records deleted.
